Vivien Martineau is an artist, illustrator and organic grower working in the UK.

Plant and Pigment is an ongoing project in which Vivien explores landscapes through observational drawings, research and gathering natural materials to process into inks and paints.

The artworks made with these foraged colours tell fragments of the geological and ecological tales of how these colours came to be and how they interact with other elements of their surrounding landscape.
