A set of six large pans of beautiful watercolour paint handmade from local and carefully-gathered earth pigments.
Each set is accompanied by an information sheet explaining the story of each colour's geological formation or story.
Painting with these colours adds the depth of geological time to every brush stroke and connects the artist directly with the natural world as they paint.
These paint pans are twice the size of usual watercolour paints which are lovely to paint with and allow for larger brushes.
The paints are packaged within a metal travel tin and held in place using magnet strips attached to the base of each paint pan. The tin comes wrapped in a hand-painted and stamped sleeve.
